Hedvig Mollestad Thomassen (born 1982 ) is a Norwegian guitarist from Ålesund . She studied jazz guitar at the Academy , and plays in several rock and jazz bands, including Hedvig Mollestad Trio, Trio Thomassen, Bronco Busters, Songs and Sweet Potatoes and Jones (as "Teacher Pogge"). She also has a central role in Jarle Bernhoft and Hilde Marie Kjersem groups, and has performed with the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra .
In 2009 she was named "this year's young jazz talent" during the Jazz .
