The Commander-In-Chief: Paranoid - Bergen International Festival



Norwegian 7string guitarist/singer/songwriter "The Commander-In-Chief" performing at the "Guitar Fest" at Bergen International Festival, June 1st 2013. She shared the stage with five other guitarist from very different genres and she was the only artist representing Metal this year. Bergen International Festival is the biggest cultural festival in Scandinavia and it lasts for two weeks, featuring artists from all over the world. The CIC was backed by local jazz musicians HC Dalgaard on drums and Peter Sæverud on bass when she performed there.
The CIC´s version of Paranoid was her first single. It was nominated for best metal song 2011 by Hollywood Music in Media Awards and it caught the attention of several editors for major music magazines, with Revolver Magazine being the first to write about it. Classic Rock Magazine called it "track of the day" and Metal Hammer hailed her as the new Queen of Shred after the release of Paranoid.
