Lita Ford: Appearing at Dean Markley NAMM Booth #5766

Dean Markley announces a meet and greet opportunity with Lita Ford at 3:00PM on January 24th, at booth # 5766 along with Orianthi and Alice In Chain's Mike Inez during this year’s National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California.

After spending all of last year on tour supporting her latest release, she is lining up to do it again this year and it starts at NAMM. A British born rocker who grew up on the streets of L.A., Lita Ford is considered one of the most important female representatives of the rock genre. Lita is a founding member of The Runaways, one of the first girl groups who unexpectedly broke down barriers in the punk era as well as the male dominated world of rock music, causing a stir with their six rebellious releases.

Following the demise of The Runaways, Lita Ford concentrated on her own career and now looks back on many memorable hits including: the chart topping duet with Ozzy Osbourne” Close Your Eyes Forever”, “What Do You Know About Love”, “Shot Of Poison”, “Larger Than Life”, “Gotta Let Go” and “Kiss Me Deadly”. With the June 2012 release ofLiving Like a Runaway, expect many more songs to be added to her list of hits.
