Yvette Young “I like Dunlop strings because they have a very clear, warm tone that I don’t find in a lot of other guitar strings. Warmth is a quality I strive for in the majority of my music, and I find that these strings possess that and much more! I primarily fingerpick and tap when I play, so the brightness of the strings, the sustain, and warmth really help me achieve a full-bodied, expressive, and fluid sound. I also appreciate these strings because they last a long time! I play in a multitude of tunings that put a lot of stress on the strings, which usually results in string-breaking disaster onstage, but these strings have proven themselves tough on tour and through extensive 'string abuse.' Also, when I do have to change them, they break in relatively fast and hold their warmth and brightness until the next string change!”
