At the Fall Music Showcase held Sept. 20th at Schooners at Sunset the Cosmic Reaction Band covered a Jimi Hendrix classic "Purple Haze"

Moni called in sick which gave Calista a chance to come up and play a few songs. She is now "wanted" by one band I know that has been looking for a 14 year old guitarist for almost a year. Elison sounded great and it is nice to hear Emily singing loudly and with confidence. Cosmic Reaction (below) greatly impressed everyone. Chanell told me her music inspiration is Jimi Hendrix. Makes sense, Lexi has Van Halen, Sydney has Led Zeppelin, Kiana has the gods of metal and Taylor has Stevie Ray Vaughn, so Chanell and Hendrix just fits. Blitzes closed the show and it was great to see Clarissa back on stage. She is in the studio with UnDVided recording a new EP. I hope they get out and play live. On to Halloween!!
