Emily Ruvidich: Steel Panther - Asian Hooker and Flight Of The Wounded Bumblebee - Nuno Bettencourt

Emily has been intrigued by music since she was very young. At the age of 6, she began taking private classical piano lessons, which she continues to this day. Emily advanced very quickly through her piano studies, and she began taking private flute lessons at the age of 8. Around this time, Emily's grandfather added another instrument to her repertoire when gave her a harmonica. She and her grandfather often played harmonica duets together; one such time being when the two performed "Ain't She Sweet" by Milton Ager and Jack Yellen at the Gateway Harmonica Club in St. Louis, Missouri. At the age of 14, Emily picked up a guitar and immediately knew this was what she wanted to do with her life. She began taking private guitar lessons and quickly devoted all her time to the instrument.
Emily didn't play bass. She didn't let that stop her, however. Emily didn't want to pass up this opportunity, so she bought a bass and learned the audition songs. At the time of the audition, Emily had been playing bass for less than a month. Several weeks later, she got a call from the band offering her the position of bass player. This began Emily's professional music career. With Shoot To Thrill, Emily played in many popular North Carolina music venues, including The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, and Amos' Southend in Charlotte. She also opened for national acts, including Bret Michaels and Jack Russell's Great White.

In January 2015, Emily received a call from the drummer of Poison'd and Red, White & Crue (tributes to Poison and Motley Crue) asking if she could play bass on their upcoming tour. She performed with Poison'd and Red, White & Crue in many major cities, including Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Vacaville, and Seattle. During the shows in Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix, Emily also played bass for Little Ozzy, the nation's only 4'8 tall front Ozzy Osbourne tribute band (as seen on America's Got Talent).

Other projects Emily has previously been involved with include guitarist for Dirty White Girls (All Girl Foreigner tribute), bassist for Ed Stephenson & The Paco Band (Nuevo Flamenco), and guitarist for Richard Bacchus & The Luckiest Girls.

Emily currently plays guitar for Dianthus, an all female hard rock/metal band.
