Not only because it speaks to that restless longing of a love that won’t let go, but also because of the rich musical elements of the song: Marc’s yearning vocal, Jennifer’s taunting licks, Bill Champlin’s chorale-like background vocals and, last but not least, Mindi Abair’s breathy and jazzy sax licks. Marc and I sunk our hearts into writing this one. I hope you feel it, too.
