Sally Gates: Orbweaver announce release of debut EP

‘Miami mind-erasers’ Orbweaver are set to release their debut EP “Strange Transmissions From The Neuralnomicon’ on August 2nd 2013.

A limited run of 100 cassettes will be released via Primitive Violence Records, 33 of which will be special edition packs including trading cards and posters featuring the artwork of Jean Saiz. CD’s and digital downloads will be available from their website, www.orbweaverband.com, bandcamp, itunes, CDbaby etc.

‘Strange Transmissions...’ was recorded in 2012 by Jonathan Nunez of Torche, with mixing & mastering handled by Brian Elliot of Mana Recording Studios, and will showcase 5 of the band’s current tracks.

Established late 2010, Orbweaver is a four piece outfit fronted by guitarist/vocalist Randy Piro (ex-Hate Eternal, Gigan). Known for a type of Zappa-esque controlled chaos, their tones spiral through the realms of psychedelia, noise, and a warped interpretation of black metal.

Orbweaver will host a CD release party August 2nd at Churchills Pub, Miami, FL, along with special guests Shroud Eater, Holly Hunt, The Tunnel and Reapermanser.
