2014 Top Female Hard Rock and Metal Guitarists
Where’s the guitar list? Where’s the drummers list? They are coming. Settle down people. October is all about the ladies. The amazing rockers who bring us their vast talents who also happen to be astonishing women as well. Let us now look at the shred-mistresses who can melt the fretboards. This is for the lead guitarists only. Not the rhythm only players. Let’s not be slapping Joan Jett, Korey Cooper, Lzzy Hale and Nancy Wilson on the list, though we respect them all highly. You get the idea. We want the one’s who can bend the strings and make them sing, er scream! As with our Top 25 Women in Hard Rock and Metal vote, we want your input and opinions. Who belongs among the Top 15 female hard rock and metal lead guitarists for 2014?
Some basic guidelines: 1) We are looking for those who are/were relevant in 2014, 2) This is not about looks, but talent, 3) If you add someone to the list include name and band name and make sure they are in the hard rock or metal genre, 4) any artist not fitting the criteria in #1 or #4 will be removed, and 5), you may vote for more than one artist, but please do not mass vote for the same artist or your extra votes will be deleted. Support your favorite but play fair!
