That can not be many musicians use their biographies but Joanne Shaw Taylor really belongs to the favorites of straws 'the master'. Joanne was 16 when she was discovered by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics. At a very young age she discovered Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins and Jimi Hendrix and who made such an impression on her that she wanted this too. Meanwhile them out of all three studio albums and one live album and won several awards at the British Blues Awards. Joanne plays very expressive guitar and her slightly husky voice fits perfectly with the music they play. Her band consists of Joe Leadbeater on keys, Tom Godlington on bass and Oliver Perry on drums. Excellent musicians, who do their work unobtrusively because it is clear that Miss Shaw Taylor dictates.
