Millisa Henderson: celebrate Freddie Mercury and fundraising for Mercury Phoenix Trust by JustGiving.

Stone Cold Crazy to Celebrate Freddie's 70th

I am celebrating Freddie Mercury and fundraising for Mercury Phoenix Trust because I want to use music as a way to help others.

Hello! My name is Millisa Henderson, and I'm from Muskogee, Oklahoma. I love music, especially Queen’s music! I have been playing guitar and singing since I was 12 years old. I'm 18 now and will be starting college at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, in September 2016. I saw a post on March 4, 2016, on Queen's Facebook page about fundraising for aids in memory of Freddie Mercury’s 70th birthday, which will be on September 5, 2016. The post asked that people get involved and give Freddie a birthday present by raising funds for The Mercury Phoenix Trust. My fundraising present to Freddie is my performance of Queen's “Stone Cold Crazy” at the historic Roxy Theater in Muskogee from November 2014 (you can watch the video by clicking on it in the Gallery section below this Story section).

Please help me raise $1,000.00 for this worthy cause by donating whatever you can spare. No contribution is too small to help fight this deadly disease. You can find out more about The Mercury Phoenix Trust at http://www.mercuryphoenixtrust.com/site/aboutus
