The music video for the lead track "Reimei no Uta" (Poem of Reimei) from their major debut EP "BLUE DAWN" has been released! Composed and arranged by Nob of MY FIRST STORY, with lyrics by vocalist/guitarist ASAKA. A rock anthem worthy of a major debut, depicting the determination of those who continue to move forward, believing in hope even in the darkness.
Symbolizing a new chapter with the beautiful visuals of "dawn," woven together in red and monochrome -
The music video for this work was created by video director Naoki Arima. He is a notable creator who skillfully manipulates video, editing, and VFX, depicting emotional worlds through lighting effects and textured camerawork. TRiDENT's theme of "dawn = BLUE DAWN" is brought to life through director Arima's unique color design and visual composition. The video contrasts intense performance scenes with a red base and black-and-white imagery. Light shining through makes a striking appearance during the performance scenes, symbolizing the band's journey toward "dawn." Meanwhile, the imagery symbolically expresses the theme of dawn through the image of a man who has lost his sight and a woman who acts as a "light" to guide him. Towards the end of the story, color shines through from the black-and-white, truly ushering in the moment of "dawn." This is TRiDENT's first dramatized music video, and it is a visual work that more deeply embodies the message of the song. ■Comments from the three members about the music video "Reimei no Uta" have arrived! ASAKA (Vocals/Guitar) "I put the message in this song that even if you're wandering through a long, dark night, if you don't give up and keep your faith in your heart, the dawn will surely dawn someday. The music video expresses that "dawn" through dramatic scenes and colors. I hope this song will bring hope to as many people as possible." SERINA (Ba/Cho) "Just as a new light has shone on our long band history, this song also expresses the dawn with the color "red," while also expressing our passion for music. Please enjoy this worldview of being freed from worries and suffering and moving forward into a new future." NAGISA (Dr) "I put the strength to move forward into every beat of the rhythm. The actors' performances in the black-and-white footage moved me so much that I nearly cried during filming. I want my drumming to support that feeling of not losing hope even in the midst of adversity."
