The latest musical phenomenon to emerge from Japan is the bandBABYMETAL who seamlessly blend Icon Pop and Heavy Metal. Having gone viral with their video for ‘Gimme Chocolate!!’, which has over 7.5 million hits since being uploaded at the end of February, the band have just confirmed their first ever UK headline show at London’s The Forum in July. This follows on from their UK debut, where they’ll be playing to huge crowds at Sonisphere Festival just a couple of days before.
