Katie Larson, Savannah Buist: The Accidentals cover, Through The Eyes Of Love, by Dick Wagner; at The Fillmore, Detroit

Dick Wagner, Maestro of Rock Tribute Concert at The Fillmore, Detroit. One of the best moments ever, meeting all the amazing musicians from Alice Cooper's band, Aerosmith, Grand Funk Railroad, Chicago, Kid Rock, Marshall Crenshaw, Miss Wensday...all whose paths had crossed with Dick Wagner. What an incredible life filled with music. It was Mind Blowing.

Add in that 3000 people gathered in The Fillmore to pay tribute and we had the honor of sharing the stage for an Accidental arrangement of Through The Eyes Of Love by Dick Wagner. We picked that song because we really liked it and because it represented Dick Wagner's music when he was in a Detroit band called The Frost. They were awesome.

The concert raised $10,000 for Children's Miracle Network and Char music donated 25 violins to Beaumont Children's Hospital. We donated 100 Accidental Kazoo's. :)

Thanks to Howard Hertz for the opportunity and to Jake Burgess Videography for the video.

Multi-instrumentalists, Katie Larson and Savannah Buist are creating quite a name for themselves among music lovers of all genre’s. Described as, “A duo giving an edge to folk with unique instrumentation”, Z93 FM DJ, Matt Mansfield writes: “Combine musicality, originality and melodic beauty with a welcome and unexpected bite to clever lyrics and youv’e got Accidentals music. Songwriters, look no farther to find a new pairing to be jealous of, especially with such a bright future ahead of them.”

They met in 2011 at their public high school. Katie (15) was a freshman cello player, “playing up” in the Philharmonic Orchestra and Savannah (16) was Concert Master, violinist. They volunteered for a class assignment that threw them together for their first rehearsal and The Accidentals were born. http://www.moreaccidentals.com/#!bios/c11md
