Sky Arts Guitar Star is back!
Last year the show saw skilled guitarists come on the show and compete for the chance to perform at Latitude Festival. Along the way the guitarists were mentored by guitar stars including Tony Iommi, Lee Ritenour, Helen Sanderson, Paco Pena and Rodrigo Y Gabriela and they also had the chance to play at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The 100 Club, The Barbican and even record at Abbey Road Studios under the tutelage of Tony Visconti.
We are back for a second series and want to ensure the guitar is represented in every way possible. That includes girls. We want to see applications from Rock Girls, Jazz Girls, Blues Girls, Classical Girls, All Girls who play guitar.
The extended deadline is very close (Thursday 10th March).
