So just a year ago, I discovered this new band called Nothing More, and I especially fell in love with this one song, "this is the time (ballast)". I really adore his unique voice and I think this song's got a great melody and a great feel. So I figured, since it's a long time since I posted something, why not give you guys a cover/playthrough of this.
The guitar that I'm using is an Ibanez S, as seen in the video - quite a rare model actually, with a DiMarzio D Activator pickup in the bridge position. I plugged guitar into logic through my sound-card, and then I've been using some amp simulation and eq there - and in addition to that I used a plugin to tune the guitar down, since I normally don't tune that low on my 6-string.
I hope you enjoyed it, and that you felt I gave the song justice - I for one enjoyed playing it.
