Yamaha celebrates women in music and shares the messages from three female artists from different backgrounds, shedding light on the diversity within us.

Born in Japan and starting to play the drums at the age of five, Senri Kawaguchi has expanded her career globally, having been selected as one of the top drummers in the world, with her YouTube videos amassing over 40 million views. Drumming helps Senri to feel more open and to connect with people, enabling a way to express herself authentically through music. For her, the joy of music is being able to have your own style and sound. On International Women's Day, she expresses the importance of appreciating each musician with their sound and music, independent from gender.
