I wrote "Infinite Blue" after my very first diving experience on the Andaman Islands in India. Inspired by the piano compositions of Erik Satie, this piece represents the serene, almost inimitable feeling of floating underwater, realizing you are part of something vastly beyond your understanding.
At the same time, the dissonant notes reflect the contrasting fear and vulnerability of being deep in the ocean, where beauty and fragility exist side by side.
Performed live at the Hamburger Gitarrenfestival 2024, an inspiring yearly festival guitar in Germany. It was an honor to share my music there!
