VindictA

Genres: Modern Metal, Metalcore, Theatrical Metal

Biography

VindictA is a theatrical metal band born out of conflict and a desire for creative freedom. The group was formed in late 2025 by former members of the band Dogma—Grace Jane Pasturini, Amber Maldonado, and Patri Grief—alongside Dogma's original co-founder and producer, Alvaro Rabaquino. After a highly publicized split from their former project's management over creative restrictions, the artists launched VindictA to reclaim their artistic identities.

Retaining their signature corpse-painted nun stage personas, the band made a fierce debut in December 2025 with their cathartic first single, "The Face of the Clown." Musically, VindictA blends aggressive modern metalcore riffs with melodic choruses, extreme vocals, and immersive theatrical storytelling. After rounding out their rhythm section in early 2026, the band embarked on their debut international tour across Australia, Japan, and Europe.

Current Lineup

  • Grace Jane Pasturini (aka Lilith): Vocals
  • Amber Maldonado (aka Lamia): Guitar
  • Patri Grief (aka Rusalka): Guitar
  • Wena Velasco: Bass (Joined early 2026)
  • Gemma Sofia Salvatori (aka Kali): Drums (Joined early 2026)

Note: Writer/producer Alvaro Rabaquino (formerly "The Dark Messiah") is also heavily involved as a core creative collaborator.

Upcoming Album Information

As of mid-2026, VindictA is deep into the writing process for their debut full-length album, noting they are about a third of the way through production. The band has stated the new material will feature a mix of groove metal, modern metalcore, and even pop sensibilities, with more extreme vocals than their previous work. The highly anticipated album has a target release window of late 2026 or early 2027, with additional singles expected to drop leading up to the release.
