Illumina from ArkRoyal, marking a new beginning as Illumina's solo project, is releasing their 1st mini-album!
"APOPTOSIS," Illumina's first solo mini-album, features remixed and remastered versions of three singles previously released exclusively at live venues last year, along with three new tracks, including an instrumental piece that serves as a sound effect. Additionally, guest drummer Yasuhiro Mizuno (SABER TIGER) participates on the tracks "Rycroft" and "Dhalia." This album marks a new beginning for Illumina (Vo/G), who self-produced the work.

[Biography]
In March 2018, the band "ArkRoyal" was formed in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Based in Hokkaido, they primarily performed live throughout Japan. Their music and stage presence, which blended an aggressive yet lyrical worldview with a heavy metal sound, were highly acclaimed. The band disbanded on August 10, 2025. From August 11 onwards, the project name changed to "Illumina from ArkRoyal," and it became a solo project by Illumina (Vo/G). From September 20, they officially began live performances as a solo project, "Tour-Warrior's Pilgrimage-," touring the country. They also released four singles, and in November of the same year, they released the "Replica" music video. Their energetic activities seem unstoppable, no matter what form they take. In the spring of 2026, their first solo mini-album was released, and a nationwide tour was announced. Illumina will continue to pursue and express the scenes, worldview, and unwavering will she wants to convey without stopping. We want you to experience her works and performances, which express the strength of her convictions.
