Biography
Gokigen Empire (originally formed as Saishuu Mirai Heiki mofu in April 2014, and widely known throughout their history under iterations of Gekijouban Gokigen Teikoku or Theatrical Version Gokigen Empire) is a Japanese musical act.
Over an evolving career marked by multiple reformations, name changes, and shifts in concept, the project originally started as an alternative idol group. They notably broke away from traditional management to become a self-produced outfit, gaining a cult following for their energetic blend of rock, pop, and subversion of standard idol tropes. Following several restructuring periods, the project ultimately transitioned away from its strict idol framework to officially operate as a rock band.
