Biography
Zilqy is an all-female Japanese heavy metal band that quickly generated massive buzz upon their announcement in late 2025. Formed by veteran musicians Miho (bass) and Toki (guitar)—who had been planning a new project for nearly two years—the band was built with the ambition to "take on the world" by combining powerful musicianship with striking visual charisma.
The band made their live debut in December 2025 with their highly anticipated "Start the Fire" showcase concert in Tokyo, proving their musical chemistry and explosive stage presence. They embarked on their first major tour, "Rise to Liberation," in early 2026 and have established a sound characterized by aggressive riffs, intricate bass work, and powerful, goosebump-inducing vocals.
