Originating from Austin, Texas, Die Spitz is a high-energy, ferocious rock band formed in 2022. Known for their explosive, chaotic live shows and visceral stage presence, the quartet quickly rose from local favorites to a globally recognized force with a sound that bridges elements of grunge, heavy metal, and punk rock (though the members often highlight a broader, melody-driven heavy music palette drawing from influences like the Melvins, Nirvana, and heavy metal classicism).
