Thundermother is a Swedish hard rock 'n' roll powerhouse founded in Växjö, Sweden, in 2009 by guitarist Filippa Nässil. Taking clear musical cues from legendary acts like AC/DC and Motörhead while injecting a modern, high-octane twist, the band is widely celebrated for its explosive, 100% live performance ethos—eschewing backing tracks and studio overdubs in favor of raw stage energy. Over multiple lineup evolutions anchored by Nässil, the group has toured extensively worldwide (including high-profile festival slots and supporting Kiss on the Kiss Kruise) and established itself as a premier force in contemporary European hard rock.
