NEMOPHILA (often styled as "Mayu's Hell") is a critically acclaimed, all-female Japanese heavy metal and hard rock band formed in Tokyo in 2019. Known for fusing crushing, guitar-driven heavy metal riffs with catchy pop-infused vocal hooks, progressive instrumentation, and intense live energy, the band quickly carved out a massive international following, affectionately dubbed the "Rev-Zoku."
Latest Lineup & Departure News (August 2026)
In August 2026, NEMOPHILA announced major structural changes: drummer Tamu Murata and lead guitarist Hazuki are leaving the group. While Murata officially stepped down at the end of July and Hazuki will conclude her tenure following a final performance on October 12, 2026, at the EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo, founders Mayu and Haraguchi-san have confirmed that NEMOPHILA will continue forward.
