Kittie is a Canadian alternative metal and heavy metal band formed in 1996 in London, Ontario. Exploding onto the scene with a raw, aggressive sound that combined teenage angst, crunching riffs, and dynamic vocals led by Morgan Lander, the group carved out a pioneering space for women in heavy metal.
