D'sc (디서치)
All-Female Modern Korean Indie Rock & Pop-Rock Quintet
Biography & Overview
Hailing from South Korea, D'sc (pronounced and stylized in Korean as 디서치 / D-Search) is a dynamic, all-female modern rock outfit blending driving alt-rock guitar dynamics, synth-pop textures, and hook-driven melodies. Emerging through Seoul's competitive live club circuit and live performance spaces—such as Jam Lounge and Unplugged—the five-piece ensemble initially captured underground and viral attention through punchy live band reinterpretations of modern K-pop and rock anthems (including tripleS's "Girls Never Die" and Cherry Filter's "Happy Day").
With a tight instrumental core characterized by energetic bass grooves, crisp twin melodic textures between guitar and synthesizer, and emotive, soaring vocals, D'sc officially made their recorded debut in August 2026 with their self-composed single "Runner." Released via Fluxus, the track positioned D'sc as a notable rising force in the new wave of female-fronted Korean indie and pop-rock.
