Biography & Formation Overview

Introduced in 2023 under Bushiroad's multimedia rock franchise BanG Dream!, Ave Mujica is a real-performing, all-female Japanese gothic and symphonic metal quintet. Born out of the emotional fallout depicted in the anime series BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!, the group was conceived and driven by keyboardist Togawa Sakiko as an intoxicating, immersive escape from reality and guilt.

Operating in the real world as one of the franchise's live-performance units where the cast members play their respective instruments on stage, Ave Mujica pairs high-velocity neoclassical metal with a theatrical masquerade concept. Performing under moon-themed Latin stage pseudonyms (named after lunar maria and features), the band merges heavy downtuned riffing, double-bass drumming, operatic keyboards, and dark, dramatic vocal interplay.
