Earlier this year Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, made waves in the guitar industry with the announcement of her St. Vincent Signature Guitar, designed with the experts at Ernie Ball Music Man. The instrument is a one-of-a-kind innovation on the market, in part because, as Clark describes, its “gender-inclusively ergonomic” design.
She Shreds met up with Clark at the 2016 NAMM conference, where she treated us to an exclusive tutorial and shared some insight into her views on gear and guitar playing. “I’m more interested in knowing what gear can do for me than knowing all of the specs and all of the ins and outs of the circuitry, necessarily.
