Here is a cool exercise that I use to warm up.
This is inspired by the great Tim Miller.
In this video the pattern is developed over the 7 Modes of the major scale but you can try it over all the scale you normally use.

Here is a backing track I've made to practice changes in a Fusion Context.
Main key are Fm & Em but there is a bridge with B7 A7 B7 A7 D7 C7.
You can play the major blues scale for each chord or the Mixolydian scales related to each chords too.
