Chantel McGregor headlined the Spirefest charity event on 9th April 2011 at The Winding Wheel, Chesterfield.
The show began in the afternoon with a variety of guitar show exhibitors and a 'Battle of the Bands' style competition, featuring 3 bands (Indigochild, Mutz Nutz & The Great Escape Artists). The winner of the competition, i.e. the band who raised the most money for charity from the audience during their set, would then go on to support the Headline Act of the show in the evening, Chantel McGregor. Indigochild we're the winners and went on to perform a second time in the evening show as support before Chantel's 2 hour performance.
All the exhibitors, bands, film crew and organisers did it all for charity and all proceeds from the day went to Cancer Research UK.
